[FFXIV Guide] Fighting Ultima

Yesterday my friends and I fought Ulima and I have to say that the fight is really a lot of fun. It took us some tries to figure the battle mechanics, but in the end it turned out quite well.

You can unlock Ultima by talking to the mysterious Bard in Mor Dhona. He will give you a quest that is... well, worthless, BUT! I wanted to finish it anyway, to not have it in my jounal.

The battle mechanics are quite fun. Players already have to face Ultima during the storyline, but this battle is a bit harder. It features different attacks from Garuda, Ifrit and Titan, as well as some unique techniques that will require your full attention. As reward for killing it, Ultima will drop level 80 gear.
